# Seize types de blocs de contenu, huit catégories

## Seize éléments simples, un seul ensemble

La plateforme regroupe les catégories suivantes: les notions de base, la littératie, la procédure, les mathématiques, le rythme, la structure, l'expression et le niveau avancé. Chaque expérience adaptée, générée par la plateforme, se compose d'une séquence validée, formée uniquement de ces blocs de contenu.

Core

4 NODES

 `card`

Single concept with one image or diagram. Text is limited to 60 words. Delivered in countable batches with a visible progress counter and optional audio narration on every card.

 `audio_clip`

60-90 second narration paired with a single image. Listening is the primary modality. Karaoke-style word highlighting synchronises the text and audio channel simultaneously.

 `video`

Short captioned video with always-visible, synchronised captions. Learner controls playback speed, volume, and caption size. Never auto-plays.

 `quiz`

Multi-format assessment: tap/click MCQ, spoken voice recording, drag-and-drop ordering, or fill-in-blank selection. Typing is always optional and never the only path to demonstrating mastery.

Literacy

1 NODE

 `vocab_card`

Target word shown with full syllabification (e.g. pho-to-syn-the-sis), phonetic pronunciation, one-tap audio button, and a morphology panel breaking down root, prefix, and suffix.

Procedural

1 NODE

 `worked_example`

All numbered steps displayed simultaneously with an explicit rationale at each stage. Steps are never collapsed. Learner views the complete procedure before attempting it independently.

Mathematics

1 NODE

 `manipulative`

Interactive digital objects — number lines, counters, base-ten blocks, fraction tiles — that learners drag and tap. The concrete anchor is always shown alongside any abstract symbol.

Pacing

2 NODES

 `break_prompt`

Mandatory rest screen after every content batch (3-7 min). Includes a 2-3 minute countdown and a physical activity suggestion to support attention restoration for ADHD learners.

 `progress_marker`

Visual milestone placed between batches showing cards completed, current streak, and session percentage. Provides persistent progress visualisation that sustains ADHD reward-feedback loops.

Structure

2 NODES

 `transition_screen`

Brief interstitial before moving between topics or modules: "You have finished \[A\]. Next up: \[B\]." Prevents abrupt changes that are a known anxiety trigger for ASD learners.

 `session_bookend`

Paired screens that open ("Today you will: A, B, C") and close ("Today you completed: A, B, C. Well done.") every session. Predictable ritual that reduces cognitive load across profiles.

Expression

2 NODES

 `graphic_organizer`

Pre-built concept map, flowchart, timeline, or Venn diagram. Learner taps or drags to fill nodes — no writing required. Assesses comprehension without motor or orthographic burden.

 `fill_in_blank`

Structured template with headers already written. Gaps are completed via tap/click, voice input, or drag-and-drop selection. Typing is always optional and never the default response mode.

Advanced

3 NODES

 `mastery_check`

Pre-module gate: learner tests out via a brief check at the start of each module. 85% or above skips directly to the next level. Gifted learners never repeat content they have already mastered.

 `deep_dive`

Optional extended inquiry extension: advanced problems, related research, and real-world applications. Provides the depth-over-breadth enrichment that twice-exceptional learners require.

 `reflection_prompt`

Post-session metacognitive check-in: "What strategy worked for you today? What was hard?" Builds awareness of compensatory strategies — critical for twice-exceptional learners.
